National Institute for Interdisciplinary Science and Technology , Thiruvananthapuram invites eligible candidates for the position of Project Assistants as detailed below. The engagement of Project Assistants will be purely on temporary & contract basis , being co-terminus strictly with the completion of the project.

Job Details

Category I

1. Project Assistant Gr.I : 01 Post
• Stipend: Rs. 7000/- p.m (Consolidated)
• Age as on 15.12.2009 : 25 years
• Qualification : Degree / Diploma in any discipline with RHCE / CCNA certifications. Experience in Linux administration , e-mail system management , web and DHCP server management is desirable.

Category II

1. Project Assistant Gr.II : 01 Post
• Stipend: Rs. 12000/- p.m (Consolidated)
• Age as on 15.12.2009 : 28 years
• Qualification : B.E / B.Tech in Metallurgical / Materials / Mechanical / Production Engg. with first class marks.

2. Project Assistant Gr.III : 01 Post
• Stipend: Rs. 14000/- p.m (Consolidated)
• Age as on 15.12.2009 : 32 years
• Qualification : M.E / M.Tech in Metallurgical / Materials / Mechanical / Production Engg. / Machine Design / Engineering design / Industrial Engg. OR B.E / B.Tech in Metallurgical / Materials / Mechanical / Production Engg. with 2 years experience with first class marks. Experience in metals / materials processing and characterization is desirable.

Categaory III

1. Project Assistant Gr.I : 02 Post
• Stipend: Rs. 7000/- p.m (Consolidated)
• Age as on 15.12.2009 : 25 years
• Qualification : Diploma in Mechanical / Production / Metallurgical / Materials Engg. with first class marks.

2. Project Assistant Gr.III : 01 Post
• Stipend: Rs. 12000/- p.m (Consolidated)
• Age as on 15.12.2009 : 32 years
• Qualification : M.E / M.Tech in Mechanical / / Production / Metallurgical / Engg. / Machine Design / Engineering design / Industrial Engg. OR B.E / B.Tech in Metallurgical / Materials / Mechanical / Production Engg. with 2 years experience with first class marks. Experience in metals / materials processing and characterization is desirable.
