Applications are invited from eligible candidates for the following posts for appointment in Atomic Minerals Directorate for Exploration & Research (AMD)

Job Details

1. Technical Officer-E (Mining)
• No of Posts : 01 (Gen)
• Pay Scale : Rs. 15600 – 39100, Grade Pay Rs. 7600/-
• Qualification : Degree in Mining Engineering from a Recognised University/Institution with minimum 60% marks in aggregate and First Class Mines Manager Certificate of Competency (Unrestricted).

2. Technical Officer-C (Mining)
• No of Posts : 02 (Gen)
• Pay Scale : Rs. 15600 – 39100, Grade Pay Rs. 5400/-
• Qualification : Degree in Mining Engineering from Recognised University/Institution with minimum 60%
  marks in aggregate and First Class Mines Manager Certificate of Competency (Unrestricted)

3. Scientific Assistant-B (Physics)
• No of Posts : 03 (SC-1, Gen-2) (out of 3 , 1 is for Locomotive disabled)
• Pay Scale : Rs. 9300 – 34800 + Grade Pay Rs. 4200
• Qualification : B.Sc. with Maths, Physics and Chemistry with minimum 60% marks in aggregate. Note: Candidates with Post-Graduate degree are not considered,

4. Scientific Assistant-B (Chemistry)
• No of Posts : 04 (SC-1, Gen-3) (out of 4 , 1 is for HI)
• Pay Scale : Rs. 9300 – 34800 + Grade Pay Rs. 4200
• Qualification : B.Sc. with Maths, Physics and Chemistry with minimum 60% marks in aggregate. Note: Candidates with Post-Graduate degree are not considered,

5. Scientific Assistant-B (Drilling/Mech.)
• No of Posts : 20 (SC-3; ST-1; OBC-8; GEN-8)
• Pay Scale : Rs. 9300 – 34800 + Grade Pay Rs. 4200
• Qualification : Diploma in Mechanical / Automobile / Drilling Engineering (3 years course after SSC) from a
  recognized institution with minimum 60% marks in aggregate. Note: Candidates with Degree in Engineering qualification are not considered

6. Scientific Assistant-B (Library)
• No of Posts : 01 (GEN-1)
• Pay Scale : Rs. 9300 – 34800 + Grade Pay Rs. 4200
• Qualification : B.Sc. with minimum 50% marks in aggregate + Bachelor of Library Science or equivalent Diploma in Library Science with 60% marks. Note: Candidates with Post-Graduate degree are not considered.

7. Scientific Assistant-B (Survey)
• No of Posts : 04 (SC-1; OBC-1; GEN -2)
• Pay Scale : Rs. 9300 – 34800 + Grade Pay Rs. 4200
• Qualification : Diploma in Civil Engineering (3 years course after SSC) from a recognized institution with
  minimum 60% marks in aggregate. Candidates with experience in Survey will be given preference.Note: Candidates with Degree in Engineering qualification are not considered

8. Scientific Assistant-B (Mine Survey)
• No of Posts : 02 (Gen-2)
• Pay Scale : Rs. 9300 – 34800 + Grade Pay Rs. 4200
• Qualification : Diploma in Civil Engineering (3 years course after SSC) from a recognised institution with
  minimum 60% marks in aggregate and with Mines Survey Competency Certificate in
  metalliferous Mines (Unrestricted). Note: Candidates with Degree in Engineering qualification are not considered.

9. Assistant Security Officer (A)
• No of Posts : Existing – 05 (Gen-4, SC-1) Anticipated - 02 (SC-1, ST-1)
  (Out of 7, 3 for Exservicemen)
• Pay Scale : Rs. 9300 – 34800 + Grade Pay Rs. 4200
• Qualification :Graduate from a recognized University
